Lisa has been involved in social media for four years. In her current position as a consultant, she is currently producing a series of YouTube videos that commemorate and celebrate the work of one of her clients, the Brown Rudnick Center for the Public Interest. Previously, as Director of Marketing Communications and PR for the international law firm of Brown Rudnick LLP, Lisa was responsible for producing the first video and social media campaign for the firm and its philanthropic entity, the Center for the Public Interest. Before that, she worked as a PR Director at PAN Communications, where she developed and managed a portfolio of consumer, nonprofit and B2B accounts for this Boston-based public relations agency. Lisa currently serves as a volunteer for the Brown Rudnick Center for the Public Interest, Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals–Nevins Farm, and Rosie's Place. She earned a B.S., summa cum laude, in Communications from Suffolk University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, Social Media Club - Boston, Nonprofit Marketing Group, and Nonprofit Professionals Forum.
Marketing and Sponsorship Manager
Boston Athletic Association
T.K. has been involved in social media for 5 years. In his current position as Marketing and Sponsorship Manager for Boston Athletic Association, he is responsible for the management of video traffic on the YouTube channel for the Boston Marathon and the Boston Athletic Association. From race previews and training tips videos to interviews with elite athletes and highlight videos, T.K. has overseen the production and posting of each video the Boston Marathon has posted since 2009. Previously, as Communciations Manager at Boston Athletic Association, T.K. established the YouTube channel and other social media outlets for the B.A.A. and the Boston Marathon. In the early days of the channel, he was more hands on - serving as the in-house videographer and editor for videos for the B.A.A. YouTube channel. He earned Bachelors degree in Communications from Boston College, and is constantly on YouTube finding cool and funny videos to help fuel the creativity of the B.A.A. for future video projects.
The Boston Harbor Association
Julie has been involved with social media for four years. In her current position, she promotes Boston's waterfront through a traditional and social media campaign called Summer on the Waterfront. This includes managing a team of young adults to create compelling YouTube videos of waterfront attractions. Previously, as Regional Director for Oceans at Environmental Defense Fund, she worked with New England fishermen to develop compelling video testimonials in support of new environmental regulations. This included posting these videos on YouTube and embedding them on the organization's website and blogs. Julie earned her Master's degree in public administration from Harvard's Kennedy School and her Bachelor's degree in biology from Swarthmore College.
Our unique one-on-one mentoring sessions offer you the opportunity to sit down with an experienced fundraising professional for 30 minutes to discuss any questions
that are specific to your organization. Mentoring sessions cover the same topics as the seminars, and we will assign you a mentor based on his/her availability at your requested times.
